The Russian River Valley has been an escape for San Franciscans since the turn of the century. The Hilton Park Campground is a named for the Town of Hilton that once stood on the land the campground occupies now. There was a brick factory on the land that our concert bowl is on for Bask. River Road was the old train tracks that led the tourists through the hot redwoods and to the cool river water.
The Hilton Park Campground is a mere hour and a half north of San Francisco.
